Takeitt ("Takeitt", "we", "us") operates a takeaway food-ordering platform that connects customers with nearby local food stalls. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using Takeitt you agree to this policy.

• Account details: your name, mobile number, and email address (if you sign in with Google).

• Location: your approximate location or city — used to show nearby stalls (customers) or to set your stall's location (vendors). This is only accessed with your permission.

• Order information: items, amounts, pickup tokens, and any note you add to an order.

• Device information: a push-notification token and basic device details, so we can alert you to new orders and order updates.

We use your information only to run the service — to show stalls, place and receive orders, process payments, send order notifications, provide support, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information.

• Vendors: when you place an order, the relevant order details (items, your name, pickup token, and note) are shared with that vendor so they can prepare it.

• Payment provider: payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. Your full card or bank details are handled by the gateway and are not stored by Takeitt.

• Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and platform.

Your data is stored on secured servers, and login tokens are kept in encrypted device storage. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information; however, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Our website uses minimal cookies and local storage strictly for login sessions and core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Our login is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, and Google's Privacy Policy and Terms apply to that service.

You can update your profile in the app, turn off location access in your device settings, and request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. We will action verified requests within a reasonable time.

Takeitt is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.
